To be considered, all proposed consultants must meet the following mandatory requirements:
– Twelve (12) years of experience in application testing.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
– Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge transfer skills
Preferred/Not Required
Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory
experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
– Experience with the State’s MAGIC System
– Worked on other testing projects with the State of Mississippi

Position Description and Job Skill Set
Description of the job functions the contractor will be expected to perform.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The objective of the Pathways project is to implement a fully functional and Agile CCWIS Solution that is aligned with
the six components of the Mississippi Child Welfare Practice Model, resulting in productive and empowered staff.
Pathways, a COTS solution, will include the ability to conduct financial and administrative business, interface with
external systems (both State and Federal) and be compliant with Federal CCWIS requirements.
UAT testing is vital to the success of the Pathways project. All testers have an important mission of ensuring that
Pathways performs functionally and intuitively, without issues, so end users can take full advantage of the system. The
quality review provided by UAT helps to mitigate risk as well as boost the ROI of the project. Early identification of
product deficiencies allows time to fix usability/functionality issues prior to go live, thereby reducing post-production
maintenance costs and increasing end user confidence/adoption of the system
The primary objective of the UAT Testing Team is to ensure the Pathways system has been fully vetted for its
functionality, usability, security and applicability in real-world scenarios prior to the official product cutover.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is full-time (40 hours weekly) and requires an individual to follow a structured process for reviewing
Vendor test cases and test results; ensure that SIT test coverage aligns with project requirements and standards.
Execute test cases and assist with UX testing.
Major Responsibilities
-Follow structured process for reviewing Vendor test cases and test results.
-Ensure that SIT test coverage aligns with project requirements and standards.
-Assist with environment smoke testing as needed to ensure that test environment(s) are set up to simulate
end-to-end scenarios.
-Test Case Execution and Monitoring
Execute test cases including:
Functional testing
End-to-End scenarios
Report Validation
Data Validation
ADA Compliance
Regression testing
-Document test results, including any defects or issues.
-Continuously monitor and report on the progress of end-to-end testing efforts.
-Identify areas of concern / opportunities for improvement
-Assist UAT Test Manager with resource coordination and test case assignments for expanded UX test team
