*Candidates must be willing and able to work onsite 2 days/week for the first couple of weeks, and 1-2 days/week thereafter.
**Assignment to be extended beyond 6/30, possibly 24 months
Skills:
Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Development. Required 10 Years
Written and oral communications Required 10 Years
Background in data integration between business systems Required 8 Years
Write and maintain/extend existing PL/SQL code to convert initial data sets, system enhancements, reports production, and improved transaction editing Required 8 Years
Requirements analysis and data modeling Highly desired 6 Years
Experience with other data integration tools and techniques including IBM Datastage,web services, messaging and other modern data warehousing Nice to have 6 Years
Description:
**Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through VDOT’s Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking
*Experienced PL/SQL developer with skills in Oracle coding
*Must also have ability to do data analysis, develop requirements and data models.
*Must have background in application backend support, Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL server development.
*Must have a background in building interfaces between business applications.
*Experience working in Agile/Scrum process is highly desired.
*Ability to communicate with business users and developers is an absolute must.
*Clear communication skills – written and oral is REQUIRED.
