Power Builder Developer/ Programmer Analyst 6 Job Posting
Minimum Qualifications:
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
• PowerBuilder Development (version 2017 or higher)
• Work in a hybrid office and home environment. (Two days a week in-office)
• Willingness to learn.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable of picking up and deciphering code with minimal guidance
PowerBuilder Developer Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data. 10
T-SQL Query Writing Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database.
Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data. 10
Data Management Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis. 10
Source Control Must have experience working with other developers utilizing source control. 5
Unit Testing Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes. 10
Documentation Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams. 10
Testing Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios. 5
Production Support Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis. 5
Change Management Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes. 5
Requirement Gathering Capable of working with clients to gather requirements and ensure functionality meets the needs of the agency 5
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
