Previous experience as a SharePoint or Microsoft Power Platform Developer/Architect Required 5 Years
Developing custom SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions Required 5 Years
Implementing records and document management systems Required 3 Years
Creating complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate Required 3 Years
Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center Required 3 Years
Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management Required 3 Years

Description:
The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) seeks to digitize and automate current paper-based records to streamline access to information across the agency. VDH is digitizing its paper-based records for storage and management in SharePoint. VDH seeks a SharePoint Architect to support the digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency.
• Advise customers on SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform features and how they apply to their unique needs
• Implement an agencywide records and document management automation system
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach
• Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements
• Create complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate
• Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliance, adherence to VDH design standards and provide a seamless user experience
• Understand and troubleshoot security issues, customer questions and other inquiries as needed
• Understand and apply VDH approved standards and processes
• Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, creating and managing file plans and building simple workflows and processes
• Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines
• Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution
• Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts
• Facilitate trainings and education opportunities
• Other duties as needed
• 5 years previous experience as a SharePoint and/or Microsoft Power Platform Developer
• 3 years UI experience
• 3 years UX experience
• 3 years of experience developing custom SharePoint solutions
• Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center
• Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and
metadata management
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Power Platform Components (PowerApps, Power
Automate/Flow, Power BI, Power Pages, etc), Migration manager, etc.
