Description:
Project Manager to assist the state Blueways Coordinator with overseeing and coordinating blueways projects from inception to completion. The TN Initiative will be focused on creating and enhancing river and stream access across the state. The Project Manager will be responsible for tactical execution of project objectives &deliverables
are achieved on time, within scope, and are accurate. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Project Planning and Management:
· Manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, & resources.
· Monitor & report project progress, including issues and risks that may require additional attention.
· Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected & ensure progress follows project designs.
· Manage contractors and vendors on blueway projects.
· Independently create solutions to possible project issues and present them to the Blueways Coordinator for discussion.
· Act as the primary contact point with construction, management, and local government groups pertaining to the project and project site.
· Assist with logistics and planning for water recreation events, such as group paddling.
