• Extensive experience managing large Peoplesoft ERP systems projects
• Significant experience migrating PeopleSoft ERP Systems (HCM, FMS, ELM, Interaction Hub, etc.) and supporting systems (Broadcom AppWorx, Data Warehousing (IBM DataStage & OBIEE reporting tools)) to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Direct experience managing technical team(s) in the planning and execution of PeopleSoft migration(s) to OCI
• Experience with Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) Architecture and/or Exalogic
• Experience with Exadata Architecture
Sample Tasks
• Perform the facilitation, analysis, and design required to ensure the successful migration of all PeopleSoft Systems and supporting systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Act as an expert technical and architecture lead for the OCI migration.
• Work closely with IT staff to mentor, advise, and help build their knowledge in the OCI.
• Provide project leadership and management as required or directed.
• Understand and document the technical non-functional requirements for the project and manage scope accordingly.
• Produce and interpret technical diagrams, plans, and paperwork, draw up delivery schedules, and liaison with project administration.
• Provide project time management (activity definition, activity sequencing, duration estimation, schedule development and control) as required or directed.
• Provide project cost management (resource planning, cost estimation, and cost control) as required or directed.
• Provide project communications management (communications planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and project closure) as required or directed.
• Provide project risk management (risk identification, risk quantification, risk response development, and risk response control) as required or directed.
• Organize, lead, and manage meetings involving management and key stakeholders.
• Lead, advise, assist, and review the work of MNIT staff, MMB staff, cloud vendor staff (Oracle), and cloud implementation vendor staff (TBD) that comprises the project team as required or directed.
• Provide knowledge transfer to State staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
