Hybrid/Local .NET/MS Access (must) Developer (15+) with Microsoft 365, Visio, MS project experience

Knowledge and Skills
· Direct experience with enterprise applications.
· Extensive experience in programming with Microsoft .NET.
· Ability to work with Business teams to gather and understand detailed functional
requirements.
· Ability to work closely with IT teams to ensure designs are aligned with Business objectives
· Assist in converting requirements into designs / configurations for testing, review and
implementation plans with the Program Manager, business groups, user groups.
· Provide post-implementation support for implemented solutions.
· Preference will be given to candidates with previous exposure to Microsoft Access
applications.
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development.
· Previous experience with enterprise systems.
· Good understanding of documenting business processes.
· Demonstrated organizational skills in terms of project management, meeting facilitation
and definition of solutions with the business.
· Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to
articulate business solutions, and communicate effectively with technical teams to
develop and configure solutions.
· Strong competency in basic Microsoft 365 applications as well as Visio, Access, and MS

Description
The OAG is looking for a Product Developer focused on the delivery and implementation of OAG finance
and accounting applications in support of the Florida PALM project. The Contractor will be a part of a team
comprised of a Data Architect and a Decision Support Specialist that will spend most of the time consulting
directly with the finance and accounting personnel while developing the line of business solutions. The
Contractor will have the opportunity to work with the Microsoft technologies and solutions in enterprise level environments.
The ideal candidate will effectively communicate requirements in technical discussions with accounting
and finance personnel and management to ensure the smooth operation of systems and deliver
customized solutions for the OAG. This position is on-site but may be allowed to work remotely
The candidate will report to the OAG’s Division of Information Technology, Application Development
Manager.
The candidate will be expected to:
· Develop solutions in Microsoft .NET.
· Create and communicate detailed requirements, solution proposals, business process designs
and business system designs that meet the business needs.
· Work with Data Architect, Business Analysts and others on the OAG PALM Transition Project.
· Work with the Finance & Accounting staff to understand the designs and validate that the
software solution will satisfy the business needs.
· Conduct functional testing of implemented applications and provide the initial support of
these applications when moved to production.
· Create and deliver documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly
implemented processes.
· Recommend changes that support business processes.
· Assist the Program Manager in status reporting and project milestone tracking.
· Assist in coordinating project activities and deliverables across other team members.
· Effectively plan and conduct transition activities of newly implemented functionality to
appropriate teams.
· Provide post-implementation support.
