Remote work – 4 days remote and 1 day onsite or occasionally 3 days remote and 2 days onsite.
Remote Work Availability:75%
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• At least 5 years of experience working with state Medicaid systems
• At least 3 years experience as a Product Owner or similar role
• At least 2 years experience working with systems integration, data exchange, and/or data transformations
• At least 1 year experience working on large IT projects
• Familiarity with X12 electronic data interchange, processes and related file formats
• Ability to effectively communicate, in both oral and written forms, with all levels of the Agency

• Agile Product Owner skills
• Medicaid IT processes

The goal of the modernization program will be incremental and modular in nature with a focus on configurable and scalable integrations, which allow for more flexibility and reduces time and cost necessary to respond to federal and state enhancements.
This Product Owner position will support ongoing efforts to integrate new and existing functional modules across the enterprise.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will serve as a Product Owner for one or more components of the MES Core. The duties and responsibilities are typical for an agile Product Owner:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define overall roadmap for the delivery and support of the assigned product(s)
• Describe the product in terms of capabilities
• Slice capabilities into incremental deliverables (epics/features and stories)
• Create and prioritize the product backlog
• Document epics and stories with clear descriptions, including acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with development teams to refine and size stories
• Participate in team ceremonies and provide continuous product guidance to team members
• Sign off on stories that have met acceptance criteria
• Serve as liaison between the MES Core team and external stakeholders
• Assist production support team with troubleshooting and resolution of incidents
