Position Summary
Atlanta Public Schools’ Digital Bridge program allows students to access and take advantage of digital resources and tools at both school and home. The Data Entry Specialist directly monitors the asset management tools to ensure the data being reported and recorded is accurate. Work is directed by the IT Student Device Specialist to meet the operational needs of the Digital Bridge program. He/she will work under the supervision of the IT Student Device Specialist.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Skills and Qualifications:
1-3 years of work experience minimum
Strong customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Excel
Prior experience with data management is a plus
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Must have clean criminal record with the ability to pass fingerprint background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must hold a valid driver’s license and dependable personal vehicle
Scope of Work/Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to established standard operating procedures through the following:
Maintain exceptional customer service posture at ALL TIMES.
Monitor Incident IQ and Tableau to ensure data is accurately reported
Perform support activities including but not limited to:
Input information quickly and accurately from a variety of sources into a computer database to keep records up to date
Verifies and logs receipt of data
Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents
Reviews data for errors or missing information and resolves any discrepancies
Maintain accurate asset assignments in Asset Management System.
Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation
Record and submit checklists or other documentation as required for upward reporting and accountability.
Education:
Minimum of Associate degree (preferred)
1-3 years of experience in data entry. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
