A Data Analyst is needed to work within the Program Reporting & Transparency Office (PRTO) in support of CDOT’s construction project portfolio. This resource reports to the PRTO Manager. Close collaboration is expected with construction project delivery staff, the PMWeb Implementation Team, the Office of Data Management.
We are looking for a contractor for a 9 month duration, 32 hours/week. Remote is acceptable, with occasional onsite work at Denver at CDOT’s Headquarters with team members.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain existing PRTO Power BI dashboards
Perform project and program data analysis based on recurring report requirements and ad hoc requests
Perform QC and data validation on reports and dashboards
Prepare presentation materials to communicate analysis and report results
Support updates to websites with reports, dashboards, and other staff support materials
Specific Tasks:
Perform weekly refresh-QC-publish tasks to maintain existing Power BI dashboards
Work with CDOT staff to validate report and dashboard results, and address data gaps and quality issues.
Support one-off analysis requests using Excel and/or Power BI
Participate in recurring report and dashboard work sessions with various staff
Elicit and incorporate dashboard feedback
Support meetings with analysis-related presentation materials
Create support and ‘how to’ documentation for dashboards
Produce report and other content for publication on websites
Minimum Requirements:
Core availability is 9am-4pm MT, Monday-Thursday
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
5 years Microsoft Excel experience
2 years Microsoft Power BI experience
2 years Google business suite experience
Preferred Experience Areas:
PMIS (project management information systems), preferably PMWeb
Engineering and/or construction project environment
Project controls
Website content management, preferably Google Sites
