Hybrid/Local Curam Developer (certification must) with HCR, CGIS, OOTB, CER, IEG, Java, web services, SQL, Python/Django, NodeJS, Angular/ReactJS, JSON, AWS, agile/scrum/waterfall and healthcare/MMIS experience
Location: Columbia, SC (SCDHHS)
Duration: 12 Months
Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Technical Science or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience with IBM Cúram framework; must have experience in Cúram HCR and CGIS
• Cúram Certification
• Experience with Cúram OOTB modules Workflow, Tasks, CER rules, Evidence framework (both static and dynamic), IEG, Web-services, Java/J2EE.
• Writing complex SQL statements. PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF
IMPORTANCE):
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance principles and processes
• Medicaid
• Experience with Python OR experience with NodeJS, ReactJS/Angular and JSON
• Experience on AWS.
• Experience profiling and troubleshooting IBM Cúram Out of the Box and custom code
• Experience delivering in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects to both technical and non- technical business users
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting .

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The software developer will serve as the on-site technical resource for the MMS project. The resource should have extensive hands-on software development experience using Java/J2EE technologies, JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, SQL/No-SQL databases, Curam and cloud technologies (AWS). The consultant will work with the team’s business analysts, subject matter experts, Sr. Cúram technical lead, Quality Manager, system integrator and designated vendors as
well as Enterprise Services team to meet the project goals.
Candidates with significant development experience with DDI of Cúram’s HCR and CGIS
products is mandatory. Vendors, please do not submit candidates without DDI
experience in Cúram’s HCR and CGIS products. The candidate is expected to utilize their
knowledge of Cúram framework in developing new functionalities and resolve defects. This position will also utilize technical expertise to develop Technical Design Documents (TDS) and develop/unit test software components/API’s, by following the project’s coding standards. The candidate is also expected to write complex SQL reports and
develop proof of concepts (POC) using Curam/Java/JavaScript’s and other modern software languages. Working knowledge in AWS or other cloud platforms will be an added advantage.
