Hybrid/Local Continuing Education Credit Coordinator with training, TRAIN LMS and healthcare experience

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, other equivalent experience will be considered. Experience with healthcare based CEU’s, project management and coordination are strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Does not need to have public health experience.
· Experience with continuing education unit applications.
· Self-starter, team player, strong oral and written communication skills.
· Experience with the TRAIN Learning Management System.
· Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
· Experience managing several projects at one time.
· Experience working with external agency partners.

Description:
The Continuing Education Credit Coordinator position is a contracted position through June 30, 2027. This position will report to the Primary Prevention Coordinator in the Office of Primary Prevention.
This position will help the office and department establish Continuing Education Unit protocols for trainings and professional development opportunities sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Health.
This position will maintain relationships with established CEU providers and will submit applications on behalf of various TDH based departments offering trainings and professional development opportunities.
This position will assess the opportunity for TDH to become an accredited provider for various healthcare related CEU opportunities in the state of Tennessee.
This position is funded through the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG). This funding is intended to strengthen the U.S. public health infrastructure, workforce, and data systems.
