Hybrid/Local (Austin ONLY) Tableau/Power BI Developer (15+) with SQL, Cognos, BO, QlikView, Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL, Snowflake, Informatica ETL experience

Location: Austin, TX (HHSC)
Duration: 4 Months
Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Tues, Wed & Fri) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius)
Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Skills:
8 Required Creating reports or data analysis, using Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView or similar.
4 Preferred working with very large scale data sets in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar.
2 Preferred experience working with Informatica ETL tools strongly preferred.
2 Preferred working with Tableau creating dashboards and reports.
2 Preferred working with PowerBI creating dashboards and reports.

Description:
Contractor will support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by creating dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI as determined by the business requirements. Contractor will translate business requirements into Tableau/PowerBI reports, and work with the program staff to ensure it meets the needs of the customer. Contractor will participate in testing or reports and dashboards to ensure proper function, and work with coworkers to publish and promote the reports as needed. Experience with Informatica ETL tools strongly preferred.

Contractor will be required to be on site 3 days per week currently, but this is subject to change.
