REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• 7+ years of documented experience with Citrix or related technologies.
• 3+ years of designing, deploying and maintaining a Citric Remote Apps and Desktops environments.
• 3+ years of designing, deploying and maintaining a multi-host Citrix ADC environment.
• Understanding of 3-tiered application and platform architecture and related troubleshooting.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• PowerShell and VBscript.

• Min- High School diploma

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: Provide top-tier support for core business systems and services for the South Carolina Judicial Branch (SCJB). Coordinate and perform the planning and implementation of the SCJB’s Citrix environment including Citrix’s all-in-one Application Delivery Controller (ADC) and Citrix Remote Apps and Citrix Desktops which provide high availability, performance and security of external applications and websites.
DAILY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Under limited supervision, collaborate with all Information Technology (IT) teams to vet, strategize and deploy SCJB applications.
• Ensure current and future application platform integrity, ability and performance via collaboration with other IT teams and application vendors.
• Facilitate the deployment of all Judicial Branch applications to users via various, industry standard methods.
• Work with development teams to ensure developed applications comply with existing platform and deployment architecture. Consult with principal stakeholders on external retail application deployment onto existing platform architecture to ensure purchased applications meet platform standards.
• Provide advanced Citrix architecture support for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Lead the analysis, planning and upgrade of existing Citrix environment including hardware and software.
• Provide assistance during a disaster recovery event.
• Configures Authentication, Authorization and Auditing (AAA) access control, Workload Load Balancing, and SSL Certificate Management to spread workloads across multiple servers providing seamless capacity expansion and redundancy; and secure end-to-end communication and Content Switching for web request changes to create a seamless experience for nearly all SCJB applications and services across multiple environments for users.
• Administrate authoritative DNS (ADNS) which provides responses to public DNS queries for all SCJB services
• Configure and manage Citrix AppFirewall to provide additional level of security and protection to public-facing websites. Manage and deploy certificates and Advanced Policy Engine policies using built-in features and regular expression language (REGEX).
• Design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot Citrix SDX networking hardware and software platforms including connectivity, virtual instance deployment, and management in SCJB’s local NOC and DR locations. Plan and perform hardware and software upgrades to maintain a stable and secure environment.
• Work directly with application development, departmental research, and procurement teams to ensure application compatibility with SCJB’s platform standards as they are researched, developed, tested and deployed as web applications or into SCJB’s ADC or Virtual Apps and Desktops environments. Maintain consistent platform design and deployment standards. Participate in all phases of applications research, design and deployment.
