.Help Desk 1 Technician to support agency on site and remotely.
This position works with the VDEM IT team to support the Help Desk function for the agency. This role will respond to customer requests to assist with the resolution of issues, tracking progress of tickets to completion. This role will work most closely with the operations manager and the telecommunication coordinator.
The role is the intake for customer requests by email, phone and in person. Tasks will include troubleshooting break/fix for agency-specific applications, smart phones, assist with on-boarding new employees, ensuring equipment is deployed to staff as required with initial training. As needed, develop new procedures documents and record any gaps in existing documentation for update.
This role will be the primary contact for agency staff.
