Helpdesk Analyst with SharePoint, unit testing, networking, HelpDesk metrics and government experience.

Skills:
Ability to effectively interact with agency staff by phone, email or in person. Required 4 Years
Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse number of IT tasks and bring to successful closure within the pre-determined timeframes. Required 4 Years
Demonstrated experience supporting Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment. Required 4 Years
Experience supporting MS Teams and SharePoint for general use questions for individuals. Highly desired 1 Years
HelpDesk experience supporting mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, mi-fi). Required 4 Years
Ability to interact and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse groups (technical and non-technical). Required 4 Years
Demonstrated ability to write or update end user support documentation for agency knowledge base. Required 2 Years
Assist with unit testing for agency changes to the network and end computing environment. Highly desired 1 Years
Ability to solve end user computing issues through use of current knowledge base, technical research or working with the appropriate supporting vendor Required 4 Years
Track/record issues and resolutions in a timely manner for HelpDesk metrics. Required 4 Years
Work collaboratively with other IT technical specialists within VDEM and the vendors assigned to support the agency. Required 4 Years
Demonstrated understanding of basic networking (user accounts, permissions, security groups) to assist customers with general access issues. Required 4 Years
Experience installing approved utility software for end user compute devices. Required 4 Years

VDEM requires temporary Tier 1/Tier 2 HelpDesk support.
VDEM requires assistance with first level support and training for general client computing questions to include queries regarding smartphones, audio-visual equipment, printers, MS Office use, add workflows for submitting tickets. VDEM is transforming to the COV and currently has an internal help desk for agency-specific functions.
