Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
8 Experience in gathering / validating and documenting requirements, leading meetings, facilitating discussions and following up on action items.
5 In-depth business analyst experience in the healthcare industry or with Texas HHSC programs. Prior experience with healthcare informatics is preferred.
5 Strong technical writing and diagraming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
3 Experience in writing Statement of Work (SOW), or Request for Proposals (RFPs) or Request for Offers (RFO) procurement documents.
3 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with prior experience in gathering requirements for data analytics, data warehousing, predictive modelling and/or performance measures implementation.
2 Leading requirements and business needs gathering activities for outcomes-based performance management or data analytics solutions for a healthcare industry initiative.
Effective Risk management skills
Strong Experience with state-of-the-art software components for a performance metrics data visualization or business intelligence environment
Strong Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong Effectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required.
Yes Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience.
