This candidate serves as an Endpoint Security Analyst within the Information Security Office of Pennsylvania’s Infrastructure and Economic Development IT Delivery Center (IED DC) which includes the Department of Transportation (PennDOT), PA Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) and the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). Interview and work address: PennDOT, 1400A Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103. We want the candidate to display these qualities:

Job Responsibilities
• The successful candidate will work alongside a small team to provide administration and incident response to our workstation and server environment (15k+ machines) utilizing modern malware-detection and incident-response techniques and technologies.
• Identify areas of both security and business concerns relating to the Delivery Center’s endpoint environment and possible solutions to mitigate factors like risk, cost, and resources.
• Maintain up-to-date security baselines for the secure configuration and operation of security tools and endpoint devices in use within the organization.
• Utilizing modern log aggregation tools and analyzers, review endpoint logs and reports, interpret the implications of activity and devise plans for appropriate resolution.
• Collaborate with IT, security, human resources, and the legal office to ensure full legal compliance of company policies, procedures, forms, notices, and materials.
• Produce procedural/process documentation pertaining to the security of the endpoint environment, and reviews/revises existing documentation periodically.
• Administers a variety of organizational access management tools/systems to implement physical and technical access controls appropriately based on the sensitivity of the facility, system, and data.

Requirements
• Professional Endpoint Support experience in large-scale Windows environments – Required 2 years
• Experience with one or more industry standard endpoint security tools from FireEye, McAfee, Norton, Trend Micro or equivalently mature vendor – Required 2 years
• Professional oral and written communication skills – Required
• Excellent soft skills such as empathy, listening, presenting, and negotiating – Required
• Experience working with Linux operating systems – Preferred
