Desktop Support Technician with networking, switches, printers and MS Office/Windows experience

Duration:6 Months (Hrs/Wk:37.50)
Comments:If hours per week exceeds 37.5, contractor must get approval
THIS POSITION WILL WORK WITH OUR NETWORKING GROUP TO PROVIDE SUPPORT WITH DESKTOP, PRINTERS, ETC.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
•LEVEL II SUPPORT FOR PC’S, PRINTERS, SOFTWARE, NETWORKING, ETC.
•COORDINATES & PERFORMS THE INSTALLATIONS AND MOVES OF PC’S, PRINTERS, ETC.
•ROUTINE CONFIGURATION, ADMINISTRATION, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF NETWORK
•ANY JOBS AND TASKS ASSIGNED BY MANAGER AND/OR SUPERVISOR
•MUST BE ABLE TO CARRY AT LEAST 50 POUNDS OF EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
•KNOWLEDGE OF PC’S
•KNOWLEDGE OF NETWORKING, SWITCHES, PRINTERS, NETWORK DEVICES
•ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY BOTH ORALLY AND IN WRITTEN FORM
•ABILITY TO WORK ALONE AND IN A TEAM
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
•FAMILIAR WITH WINDOWS 10, OFFICE 365
REQUIRED EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND EXPERIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
•Must present Picture ID
•No Tobacco, Alcohol, or other contraband items
•No Weapons
•Cash on person to be $50.00 or less (in correctional institutions)
•No cell phones (in correctional institutions)
•Vehicles will be searched by security staff upon arrival and departure
