Desktop Support Engineer with PC hardware/software, Troubleshoot, Windows, Desktops, Laptops, MS 365 and Help Desk Experience

Location: Austin, TX (TEA)
Duration: 12 months

Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
1Provides support for PC hardware/software to the Agency and ensure that all systems have a 99% uptime.
1Imaging and provisioning the new computer for users. Meet with users onsite to migrate user profile from current PC to a new PC.
1Support and Troubleshoot complex technical Microsoft Windows Desktops and Laptops related issues.
1Provides technical analysis and resolution of system problems. Identifies, researches, and recommends options to management. Ensures that all Security policies are followed.
1Ensure that all help desk request and incidents are resolved and closed in a timely manner based upon priority.

Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
1-3Hands-on work experience in desktop support.
• Experience in supporting a large-scale hardware / PCs deployment project is an asset.
• Must be customer oriented and have excellent customer interfacing and support skills.
• Must have work experience supporting local area network connected devices.
• Experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems.
• Microsoft Office 365 products
• Strong resource and time management skills for systems support
• Ability to work at onsite at a client facility as required.
• Solid problem solving/trouble-shooting abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, detail and process oriented.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the TEA. TEA may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TEA will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).

Texas Education Agency is seeking a PC Support Analyst for PC Refresh/Deployment project. The person will be supporting the hardware refresh/deployment project in deploying Windows 10 Desktops/Laptops. They will also be responsible for Installing TEA approved Software’s, Printers and other peripherals for the users.
