Project Manager Requirements
Legacy Mainframe to Salesforce/AWS data conversion lead experience
Advanced knowledge of knowledge of Salesforce standard/custom objects, triggers/Apex controllers, and Mulesoft
Thorough knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies;
Broad knowledge in the management of system and application database administration, data conversion, data governance/management, data quality/cleansing, and synchronization;
Broad knowledge in DAMA best practices, tools and utilities related to supporting application data;
Broad knowledge of capacity planning and disaster recovery;
Advanced knowledge of legacy Mainframe to Salesforce data conversion experience and practices;
Thorough knowledge of AWS data components;
Basic knowledge of Atlassian tool suite and Talend;
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, management or relevant experience;
Child Support Enforcement knowledge a plus but not required;
Ability to read and understand complicated technical documentation and perform logic analysis;
Ability to work in team environment with diverse human resources;
Ability to lead, encourage, and share knowledge;
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Project Manager will provide oversight of vendor data conversion activities. This role will also support and assist state lead data clean-up efforts and data governance adoption throughout the project. This role will need to have data conversion/migration management experience from a mainframe to Salesforce and AWS cloud platform.
Representative duties include:
Participates and oversees the data conversion of data during the INvest Project that will be executed by a vendor;
Participates and recommends staff approval of data conversion vendor deliverables during the INvest Project. This includes Data Conversion Plan, data analysis/modeling/mapping, data design, data quality management, data optimization, data implementation and recovery strategy, etc.;
Guides project team in the data cleanup/profiling activities for the legacy application;
Works often with the Management Team to provide input and experience related to conversion activities;
Ensures that the databases have well documented and updated data models, dictionaries, security, recovery, operation maintenance plans and purge/archive procedures;
Reviews workflow orchestration including data routines and job scheduling to automate and streamline data processes, and enable faster data conversion to the new system;
Assists in understanding and implementing data governance practices and strategies;
Regularly meets with agency management or project leads to discuss project status, prioritization of changes, and project concerns;
Provides data from legacy and ancillary applications to vendor and coordinates this effort with DevOps team;
Ensures database performance is within stakeholder requirements and monitors vendor database management for continual improvement, normalization and integrity;
Assists in planning and estimating effort for all data tasks and activities associated with data conversion related projects;
Supports document and content management for data found outside of databases;
May evaluate, recommend and assist in setting up database tools to support team efforts;
