Child Welfare Program Manager with MDT, CAC, case worker and contract development experience

Requirements for Program Manager Position
•A Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services related field; and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience providing services to individuals including children, youth and families and providing referrals to community based service providers if needed.
Or
•A master’s degree in social work or a related field with one (1) year providing services to individuals including children, youth and families and providing referrals to community based service providers if needed.
Or
•An associate’s degree with five (5) years providing services to individuals including children, youth and families and providing referrals to community based service providers if needed.
•A minimum of four (4) years’ experience serving on a MDT or experience working at CAC or child welfare caseworker preferred.
• A Valid NY State driver’s license.
• Clearance from the New York State OCFS State Central Registry (after award).
Duties for the Program Manager Position
•Provide monitoring and technical assistance through review of program reports, regular communication via email, telephone, and in-person site visits to ensure adherence to program standards and VOCA requirements.
•Responsible for the development of program contracts, approval of performance targets, work plans and program budgets.
•Work in cooperation with OCFS regional offices to support local districts serving on MDTs.
• Represent the unit, bureau, and agency at meetings and workgroups.
•The Program Manager must have the capacity, written and oral communication skills, and the facilitation skills to manage this initiative.
• The Program Manager must demonstrate knowledge in the operation of MDT and CACs and have the ability to perform the duties as described above.
