• 5+ years’ experience as a project manager using PMI project management methodologies, in significant portion of which must be related to large system development and implementation for a public sector/government entity.
• 5+ years’ experience in information technology including computing, telecommunications, printing, data storage, data transmission etc.
• Large scale production system implementation experience.
• Knowledge of generally accepted system architecture, project management and supervision principles and practices.
• Ability to plan, organize, instruct, and review the work of a large team.
• Ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non-technical staff, customers/stakeholders (State and Federal) and executives.
• Ability to communicate effectively with information technology staff.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: THE CFS PROJECT IS A PROJECT WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES (DSS). THROUGH THIS PROJECT, DSS DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED A NEW CHILD SUPPORT SYSTEM. DSS REQUIRES PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO MANAGE ON-GOING OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TASKS RELATED TO THIS NEWLY DEPLOYED SYSTEM.
