Cherwell Developer with security incident reporting, change control, forms/reports development, screen design, testing and PM experience

Location: Tallahassee FL (Agency for Health Care Administration AHCA)
Duration: 9 months
Interview: In-person

A.Work with the project manager and development team to propose, develop, configure, and implement robust modules for security incident reporting and change control with automated functionality within an established Cherwell environment.
B.Provide Cherwell development programming estimates as directed.
C.Develop Cherwell application modules in conformances with the adopted AHCA methodologies, standards and practices.
D.Develop and execute Cherwell test plans as directed.
E.Develop application documentation conforming to AHCA standards.
F. Abide by AHCA security policies when accessing the AHCA’s buildings and systems.
G.Create Cherwell email and/or API connections between the Agency and the State Data Center to ensure that all data is current and accurate.
H.Work closely with Agency business units to define security response requirements.
I.Develop and configure Cherwell forms through the automation process server for availability both internal and external.
J.Develop and configure reporting and trending dashboards.
K.Adapt to changes in daily work plans based on customer support needs.
L.Retain detail orientation in a fast-paced environment.
M.Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for system enhancements, as well as minor updates and change requests.
N.Serve as the primary liaison between internal and external users and technical resources to translate business needs into technical requirements.
O.Develop meeting summaries, requirements documentation, screen designs, and other SDLC artifacts within required timeframes.
P.Lead manual testing efforts for each release in dev and beta environments.
Q.Develop and maintain test plans and scripts for manual testing.
R.Coordinate with the functional owner and developers to research anomalies, identify root cause, and troubleshoot through resolution.
S.Capture and document metrics in support of the user acceptance testing and recommend improvements.
T.Assess current testing processes; recommend and implement process improvements, including automation where practical.
U.Provide estimates for testing and requirements analysis.
V.Comply with AHCA’s Division of IT Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM) standards and formats on all work products.
W.Assist in the completion of status reporting and escalation of issues to management.
X.Participate as directed in activities under the direction of an AHCA IT Project Sponsorship, including the respective IT Team Lead and stakeholders; perform duties delegated by the Project Manager on behalf of the department.

The Agency is seeking a Cherwell consultant to propose, develop, configure, and implement modules for security response and change control functionality within an established Cherwell environment. The consultant will work closely with the AHCA Cherwell team to ensure all new development and enhancements to the existing Cherwell installation meet the Agency’s defined business processes. All Cherwell development will be performed on-site and follow the existing ISDM process for project requirements, new development, testing, and implementation.
