NC FAST requires the services of Senior Curam developers to provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design, and programming support for the Food Nutrition Services (FNS), Cash/Refugee program areas for some major technical enhancement efforts (including COVID related requests) needed by the business.
One of the key roles for this resource will be revamping the design and code to enhance application rules/logic to be dynamic and data driven and easy to maintain for the SSI COLA (cost of living adjustment) process for FNS and Cash Assistance program areas, Farm bill changes for FNS, the Elderly Simplified Application Project (ESAP) for FNS and for implementing the policy changes for the Refugee Medical program.
Duties include but are not limited to requirement gathering, fit gap analysis, functional and detailed design, code development, and life cycle management of various program features. Areas of focus include business and workflow process modeling, business and System reengineering using Cúram, Java and other web technologies. These activities will involve the use of COTS Cúram Enterprise Framework Components, Cúram Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2), Cúram Express Rules for Triage (CERT), use of XML technology in Cúram, Cúram Evidence Framework, Java, Software Integration tools like MuleSoft or Boomi, Oracle, Subversion/Bitbucket, and WebSphere.
Responsibilities also include implementing Agile software development and testing approaches for entire Service Delivery Lifecycle and deployment to ensure code base is efficient, maintainable, and adhering to DHHS/NC FAST policies and procedures.
This role should have strong working experience in IBM Curam framework and Java programming to understand and develop the underlying rules for the FNS, SNAP, Cash Assistance and Refugee products.
