PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
UNIVERSITY DEGREE IN ENGLISH, BUSINESS OR RELATED SUBJECT
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
OTIS IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED BUSINESS ANALYST – TECHNICAL WRITER TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH THE OTIS LEADERSHIP TEAM TO ENSURE THE SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS AND PROCESS DOCUMENTATION THAT DIRECTLY SUPPORTS THE SUCCESS OF THE STATE’S ENTERPRISE SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGIES.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE HIGHLY ORGANIZED, CAN WORK INDEPENDENTLY IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT AND PRODUCE MULTIPLE QUALITY DELIVERABLES WITH VARYING DEADLINES. CANDIDATES SHOULD BE SELF-STARTERS AND CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVERS AND HAVE THE FLEXIBILITY TO LEARN NEW PRODUCTS AND TECHNOLOGIES QUICKLY.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
–WORK ALONGSIDE APPROPRIATE STAFF, TEAMS, STAKEHOLDERS AND OTHER POINTS OF CONTACT (POCS) AS REQUIRED, TO UNDERSTAND THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF COMPLEX INFORMATION SYSTEMS, WITH EXPANSIVE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, IN ORDER TO LEAD IN THE CREATION OF DOCUMENT AND ARTIFACT DELIVERABLES SUPPORTING OTIS EFFORTS AND INITIATIVES;
–PARTICIPATE IN DESIGN LEVEL DISCUSSIONS TO PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS ON DOCUMENT AND ARTIFACT DELIVERABLES BASED UPON ANALYSIS ADMINISTRATIVE, TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT ASPECTS OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES; –WORK WITH TECHNICAL STAFF AND BUSINESS STAKEHOLDERS TO CREATE DELIVERABLES AND ARTIFACTS THAT ARE INTENDED FOR AUDIENCES OF VARYING LEVELS OF TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE; –ORGANIZE AND WRITE SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTS AS NEEDED; — SELECT PHOTOGRAPHS, DRAWINGS, DIAGRAMS, AND CHARTS THAT INCREASE USERS’ UNDERSTANDING; –REVISE DOCUMENTS AS CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND SERVICES OCCUR; –ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN A DOCUMENT REPOSITORY OF ALL DOCUMENTS AND ARTIFACTS.
