AWS Architect with C#, agile, scrum, PM and training/kt experience

Technical Design
Contractor will assist staff in developing the technical design and architecture of the new data platform. Contractors will leverage modern technologies and industry best practices to complete design work.
• Create data system diagrams, data dictionaries and process maps for future state system
• Document key development requirements
• Select the foundational technologies required for implementation

Technical Expertise
Contractor will supply technical expertise in key skill areas required for delivery of the project. Prior project experience leveraging skill areas is critical
• Database management/design
• Application development (C# preferred)

Delivery
Contractor will perform development work required for implementation of new data platform. This will likely include heavy cloud based database and data processing requirements. Testing to ensure high data integrity is key.
• Development of cloud based databases and processes that will comprise the new data warehouse
• Integration of platform with data feeds and user endpoints
• Continuous testing throughout development cycles to ensure data integrity

Process design and documentation
Contractor will design and document key business processes required to maintain the new data platform. Knowledge will be transferred to staff at regular intervals to ensure smooth handoff of platform upon project completion.
• Documentation of key business processes supporting new platform
• Knowledge transfer sessions for full time staff

Support Project Management
Contractor will have responsibilities to maintain appropriate reporting and tracking of project activities. Contractors will also participate in regular teaming and coordination meeting related project planning/management (e.g. sprint planning, standups, etc.)
• Track and report primary project activities
• Participate in project planning and management as appropriate

Deliverables
– Initial production release of new cloud-based data platform
– Technical documentation providing notes and guidance on all major features, as well as the overall design of the new data platform. Documentation will also include initial capture of architectural and design plans for the new platform prior to build.
– Completion of regular knowledge transfer sessions with WSIB staff throughout project, as well as a capstone knowledge transfer session at the end of the project.
– Regular and transparent communication throughout the project with staff regarding project progress and blockers to deployment.
– Additional deliverables, as agreed to by WSIB staff and contractor during the pendency of the contract.

Scope of Work
The contractor will work in close collaboration with appropriate staff at the WSIB and review systems and documentation to accomplish the objectives outlined. The contractor will work
onsite where appropriate to accomplish the objectives outlined above. The WSIB team anticipates working with a cross functional team and leveraging agile methodology to deliver this process. Iterative release cycles with continuous testing will ensure delivery of a robust platform. The WSIB anticipates assuming primary project management responsibilities, but may draw on the contractor for business analysis support as required.
