The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a senior level Developer for driving modernization of tools, design and development standards in a mature SAP environment. Overall experience 10+ years.
NCDOT’s environment services over 6,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE and PI. This position plays a key role in establishing, executing and supporting our corporate strategy for SAP development. Maintaining a sound production environment for development initiatives while at the same time participating in multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity is key.
This role requires close collaboration and coordination with the Business departments, SAP Development team, SAP Basis team, SAP Functional team, Network Engineers and Enterprise Architects.
•Demonstrated understanding of system architectural principals and standards, UI5, JavaScript, CSS, responsive UI/UX design
•Knowledge of SAPUI5 library and experience in building applications using SAPUI5
•Thorough knowledge of SAP Master Data models in ECC and S4/HANA including Business Partner
•Demonstrated experience in building own OData services using NetWeaver Gateway and ABAP
•Experience working in Agile methodology
•Ability to create detailed technical specification working in collaboration with SAP competency center colleagues.
•Experience as a key resource driving modernization of tools, design and development standards in a mature SAP environment.
