Job Description:
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
MONITORS CLEMSON NETWORK, SERVER, AND APPLICATION ELEMENTS, RESOLVE INCIDENTS AND SERVICE REQUESTS AND/OR CONSULT WITH THE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT TEAM FOR INCIDENT RESOLUTION. APPLIES SIMPLE STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY TO MEET AND IMPROVE NETWORK CONTROL CENTER.
CONFIGURE NETWORK AND SYSTEM RESOURCES, AND MAINTAIN CORRESPONDING SYSTEM RECORDS AND DOCUMENTATION. PROVIDES TIER II SUPPORT AS PER SME AGREEMENTS. PERFORMS PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND MONITORING OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS. PERFORMS PRE-CONFIGURED PORT ACTIVATIONS ON NETWORK SWITCHES.
PREPARES AND REVIEWS DOCUMENTATION FOR USE IN OPERATIONS FOR TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE BASE. PARTICIPATES IN TRAINING AND CROSS TRAINING FOR THE TIER II. . PROVIDES CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ALL INFORMATION AND/OR TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK SYSTEMS SUPPORT AREAS.
MONITORS MAINFRAME, APPLICATIONS AND BATCH PROCESSING. RESPONDS TO ISSUES, ALERTS, INCIDENTS, TICKETS AND RESOLVE INCIDENTS AND SERVICE REQUESTS AND/OR CONSULT WITH THE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT TEAM FOR INCIDENT RESOLUTION. MEETS AGREED SLA TIME REQUIREMENTS.
