Description:
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking experienced PowerBuilder contractor developers (>5 years experience) for a 12-month engagement for the Engineering Application Services Department (EAS) to enhance and maintain a mission-critical application for the department called HiCAMS.
HiCAMS is a custom, client-server, PowerBuilder application used to track work, materials and payments on North Carolina Division of Highways Construction projects.
The initial assignments will be to code/test data windows to replace over 100 sample test result spreadsheet formats that were coded using an outdated 3rd party software tool. Additional work will involve coding/testing bug fixes and other functional enhancements to the system.
This individual should have experience with standard development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, unit & system testing, quality assurance testing as well as experience with business process transformation. Design SharePoint and web-based solutions to support Preconstruction and Scoping business processes that are valuable to the transportation lifecycle
Required Skills: (5+ years)
