Description:
The Connecticut Bureau Of Information Technology Services under the Department of Administrative Services (DAS-BITS) is looking for Salesforce Developers. The developers will be assigned to support hands-on development efforts on projects for the Department of Social Services. This position will report to the APPS/DEV team.

Consultants are coming in twice a week to the office. CT candidates are preferable. Contract extensions will be processed based on candidate performance and budget availability.

Develop Medium to Complex SF solutions to ensure that best practices are followed and the best data solutions are provided.
Create technical plans and strategies with other IT team members, developing solutions to address any agency-wide issues and making business processes more efficient.
Conduct workshops/training for other team members in the IT Team to gain a detailed understanding of the Salesforce Solution, business requirements, and Salesforce Platform Capabilities.
Responsible for developing Apex, LWC, and other technologies to build native/custom solutions.
Support maintenance and operations of existing applications built in Salesforce.
Develop new applications or Customize applications from App Exchange.
Produce business and technical documentation for the projects.
Conduct thorough knowledge transfer & training to the State.
