Duration: 12 Months
some in person meetings are expected in Richmond, NO exceptions
**Team is currently 100% remote with some in person meetings in Richmond as requested

Skills:
Experience in solutions architect experience Required 5 Years
Experience in MVC, C#.net, VB.net, ASP.net, .net CORE, Oracle and/or SQL Required 5 Years
Experience designing and implementing applications Required 5 Years
Experience in technical leadership position to provide consultation and advice on major implementations that consider various technical options. Required 5 Years
Experience developing and implementing technical standards Required 5 Years
Experience with utilizing Azure Dev Ops pipeline building for automated code deployments Required 5 Years
Experience with architecture design to include hybrid on-prem/Azure Cloud environments, familiarity with NIST security standards Required 5 Years
Ability to collaboratively develop and deliver solutions with both onsite and remote teams. Required 3 Years
Experience in communicating and coordinating with internal business customers and IT analysts to determine software requirements and system impacts. Required 3 Years
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Required 3 Years
Experience with Entity Framework, jQuery, Ajax Desired
Experience with SIEM and OKTA implementations Desired
Hands-on knowledge of identity and access management technology, such as single sign-on (SSO), two-factor authentication, privileged access management Desired
Experience migrating and supporting services from basic authentication to SAML2.0 and OIDC authentication Desired
Hands-on knowledge of SSO tools such as Okta preferred Desired.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
A solutions architect is required to perform operations and maintenance support on legacy .net applications and as needed back up to fulltime resources supporting .net implementations.
This individual will be expected to work with the current development team to quickly learn VITA’s base system to support and expand it.
The following are the expected experience/skills:
– 5+ years experience in solutions architect experience.
– 5+ years experience in MVC, C#.net, VB.net, ASP.net, Oracle and/or SQL
– 5+ years experience designing and implementing applications
– 5+ years experience in technical leadership position to provide consultation and advice on major implementations that consider various technical options.
– 5+ years developing and implementing technical standards
– 5+ years experience with utilizing Azure Dev Ops pipeline building for automated code deployments
– 5+ years experience with architecture design to include hybrid on-prem/Azure Cloud environments, familiarity with NIST security standards
– Familiarity with SIEM/Splunk desired
– Experience with Entity Framework, jQuery, Ajax
– Ability to collaboratively develop and deliver solutions with both onsite and remote teams.
