Remote/Local Healthcare Enterprise Architect with governance, FX Strategic Roadmap, Legacy transition experience

Location: Tallahassee, FL (FXPA)
Duration: 36 Months

Skills:
At a minimum, the Consultant shall:
a. Lead, advise, consult, and collaborate with the Agency on topics such as:
i. Implementation of enterprise architecture, the enterprise architecture governance
structure and ongoing refinement activities
ii. FX Strategic Roadmap Implementation planning activities
iii. Legacy Systems transition, cutover, and sunset planning activities
iv. FX Technical Documentation (T1-T8) maintenance activities
v. Vendor Task Order estimates and designs
vi. Integration and Interoperability of business and technical services
vii. Technical requirements for procurements
viii. IT Common Operations (ITCO) recommendations and activities
ix. Operationalization of newly implemented modules
x. FX Performance management and monitoring standards

b. Participate in various activities such as:
i. FX Architecture Review Board Meetings
ii. Technical Issue Resolution reviews
iii. Technical Standards Committee meetings
iv. Technical design and architecture reviews
v. FX module vendor deliverables, as needed

Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the
position:
a. 10+ Years Technical Architecture design and deployment experience, including
systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations
b. 10+ Years providing advice on Technical Roadmaps and associated artifacts
c. 5+ Years Leadership experience managing large, cross-functions teams and projects,
and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
d. 5+ Years Health & Human Services (HHS) experience
e. Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of peers and key stakeholders; mobilize and
motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages
with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
f. Ability to navigate matrix organizations effectively
g. Results-oriented, diligent, and works with a sense of urgency. Assertive, responsible
for his/her own work (self-directed), have a strong affinity for defining work in
deliverables, and be willing to commit to deadlines
h. Influential, focused, and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
i. Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity, and precision both
written and verbal
j. Proven experience with telecommuting within a team environment
k. Ability to leverage remote collaboration tools efficiently and effectively
l. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; balancing strategic alignment
with technology roadmap and emerging industry trends with practical delivery
m. Strong written and verbal communication skills
n. Excellent stakeholder-facing and internal communication skills
o. Ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
p. Ability to build consensus across teams, with staff and leadership
q. Ability to effectively conduct meetings, both formal and informal
r. Requires minimal direction from leadership
