– Ability to code, test, and debug SQL and SAS programs.
– Skill in gathering and creating requirements and other technical documentation.

The 2019 Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) Outcome 5.4 Project is funded by a grant from the US Department of Education. This project has been developed to update and enhance current PreKindergarten Reports located on the Texas PK-16 Public Education Information Resource (TPEIR) website.
The Power BI Programmer and Report Developer will report to the TPEIR Unit Manager in the Research & Analysis Division. This contract position performs highly complex SAS programming, data analysis, as well as report building and conversion for the TPEIR public website. Specific job responsibilities include converting existing reports to Power BI with SAS datasets as back-end; designing, developing, and creating SAS datasets and Power BI reports; and optimizing SAS code using best practices.
