Hybrid/Local Automation Tester/SDET/OO Developer with SQL Server, defect tracking experience

Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule; onsite 2 days a week. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Non-local candidates must be prepared to relocate at time of acceptance.

Skills:
•Development experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) language – required 5 years
•Working within the SDLC – required 5 years
•Experience with creating and maintaining databases such as SQL Server – required 2 years
•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems – Required 5 years
•Ability to document and adhere to design process – Required 5 years
•Ability to follow documented instructions without assistance – Required 5 years
•Effective communication skills to coordinate with team and lead about status and issues – required 5 years

Responsibilities:
•Use OOP, database, and automation tools to develop and maintain artifacts.
•Based on documented test scripts, with data and expected results, translate them into automated test scripts.
•Capture, analyze, and report test results.
•Log and track defects to resolution.
•Maintain automation script repository with code updates.
•Contribute to work estimates, as necessary.
•Execute data management plan activities.
•Consistently provide high quality analysis of script failures and anomalies.
•Seek and share ways to improve test processes via the use of automation.
•Maintaining and contributing to script to functionality mapping to ensure coverage.

Requirements:
Supporting the Department of Treasury, the elected person will need to be fingerprinted in addition to the State of Michigan background check. Object Oriented Developer

Role Description: The Object-Oriented Developer is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated scripts. The Object-Oriented Developer will utilize a variety of tools and scripting languages to create high quality, reusable scripts that can be utilized in multiple environments. This person should possess a strong foundational understanding of troubleshooting code failures and anomalies, development principles, processes, and methods. The developer is also responsible for ensuring that manual scripts are converted to automated scripts by using Object-Oriented Programing (OOP), a database, and an automation tool. This is all done in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround and high pressure.
During the interview, a demonstration of troubleshooting, database knowledge, and a simple OOP script will be executed.
