NCDIT-T is seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer and User Interface Designer to work on our mission critical NCDOT ferry projects as well as ongoing development efforts for NCDOT.gov. This position is critical for the Web Systems team to deliver on its mandate of building and maintaining interactive solutions for NCDOT customers. Must have experience building modern web applications with NPM, JavaScript, CSS and especially Vue.js. Should be proficient in building web applications with Vue components and libraries like Tailwind or Quasar. Also, should have experience in updating older web application HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery into a more modern stack. Experience with Git (or Azure DevOps) and working on large front-end development projects with multiple developers and designers. Should have ability to work directly with business customers to gather requirements, facilitate testing, and triage/support user and system issues.
