Hybrid QA Tester with
Azure DevOps/ TFS/ Git) ,

Location: Richmond VA
Duration: 8 months
Remote to start but ON SITE (2-3 days/week) expected in near future (in next 2 – 3 months)
Must be able to pick up equipment IN PERSON if selected.

Responsibilities & Expectations:
• ISEB / ISTQB qualification in Software Testing to practitioner level or equivalent qualifications or experience.
• Proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies and frameworks in support of Agile development
• Experience of using a test management/ Version Control tools (Azure DevOps/ TFS/ Git) and extensive experience writing test cases in Gherkin.
• Experience in writing Complex SQL queries for Creating and Maintenance of test data to support automation testing and Business users
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Ruby, Java OR Python
• Experience working in Window and Linux environment
• Experience in reviewing metrics to identify areas for process optimization, Conduct dry run/smoke testing to ensure scripts readiness and Execute automation scripts
• Gather requirements from the Business Analyst to understand the project, Analyze requirement, Identify gaps in the requirements, skill sets required and provide LOE
• Provide Test Scenarios/ Cases walkthrough and seek customer sign off inclusive of Prioritization of Test cases, Optimization options
• A thorough understanding of risk-based testing
• Test the defect and update the status, Conduct root cause analysis of the defects logged and assist developers in recreating bugs
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in both verbal and written communications
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with engineering teams and solving complex system problems together
