Remote Java full stack developer with SOAP/REST, AWS, Angular and Oauth Experience

The Department of Technology Services (DTS) and Department of Health and Human Services
(DHHS), Division of Licensing and Background Checks (DLBC) are in the process of re-platforming
their Child Care Licensing application (UCLAPP) and optimizing it to run in AWS. Child Care Providers
licensing and background checks are maintained in UCLAPP. A Contracted Developer with REST and
AWS experience is needed to assist with these efforts. The contractor will help with APIs (REST). We
will be upgrading to Java 11. We are also working on upgrading the Angular version for the UI. Once
the rewrite is complete, we plan to migrate to AWS and will be migrating from Oracle to a mySQL
Aurora database.
The Scope of Work is to provide IT consulting services, on a fee for hourly services rendered basic, to
upgrade UCLAPP and to migrate to AWS. Hourly rates are fully loaded (includes all costs to provide
the IT consulting services). Position may be remote within Utah.
