Hybrid Automation Tester/SDET with MySQL, VB, C#, defect tracking, and Java experience
Location: Dimondale, MI DTMB
Duration: 12+ months
Remote or On-site? Local candidates (heavily preferred) or willing to relocate at the candidate’s expense. Position will be ON SITE 2 days a week.
Skills:
Development experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) language –
required 3 years
Working within the SDLC – required 2 years
Experience with creating and maintaining databases such as MySQL – required
2 years
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems –
Required 5 years
Ability to document and adhere to design process – Required 2 years
Ability to follow documented instructions without assistance – Required 2 years
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team and lead about status and
issues – required 5 years
Need more Database and Developer/Development type skills, object oriented, VB, Java, C#, etc

Responsibilities:
Use OOP, database, and automation test tools to develop and maintain
automated test artifacts.
Develop and execute automated functional test scripts.
Capture, analyze, and report test results.
Log and track defects to resolution.
Maintain automation script repository.
Contribute to work estimates as necessary.
Execute data management plan activities.
Consistently provide high quality analysis of script failures and anomalies.
Seek and share ways to improve test processes via the use of automation.
Maintaining and contributing to script to functionality mapping to ensure
coverage.
Documenting updates and additions to the automation process.
