VDOT’s Location and Design Division (L&D) in Richmond, VA is looking for an experienced Business Coordinator with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. The successful candidate will assist L&D’s Business Administration group with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to, general business administration, review invoices, prepare voucher packets for payment in accordance with state guidelines, and keep a detailed expense tracking system for each Contract. The candidate will also perform analytical tasks such as reviewing invoice data for compliance with Contract Terms. While this position does not include Buyer responsibilities in eVA & Cardinal, experience and understanding with State Procurement is desirable.

This position will be part of a team of professionals that work well together on many projects and back each other up when a team member is absent. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, positive minded, team player with an ability to work independently. Providing good customer service to internal and external customers is essential.
