These two contractor roles are for Senior Java Developers. As part of the port of the application, the application will undergo remediation to align the application with more up-to-date security and support-ability standards within the limits of the funding that was allotted. Development of new applications. Coding for applications with RESTful web services in the middleware that connects to SQL and or NoSQL databases. Knowledge and experience working on Single Page Applications development, RESTful services, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB in an agile environment is required. Supports the application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting as required. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management would be beneficial. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the HHSC. HHSC may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. HHSC will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
