Division of Employment Security (DES), IT Infrastructure team is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to provide technical support on several high-profile projects. These projects include a datacenter migration, database migration to cloud services, and database redesigns, upgrades and refreshes.
The Data Base Analyst should possess knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases, AWS cloud based databases, database migration, database design, data modeling, data loading and extraction, stress testing database applications, database monitoring, database performance tuning and optimization, database backup & recovery, change control deliveries, resource management & capacity planning, batch job management, database security, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
This position will work closely with database engineers and developers in designing optimal and efficient solutions that are easier to support, maintain, and administer, with an emphasis on identifying cloud native opportunities.
The ideal candidate would be a professional, detail oriented and self-motivated individual who excels at completing tasks successfully and efficiently. Project length 1 year.
