The Technical Specialist is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a specific technology. Serves as a PL/SQL, Microsoft Access, Java, IBM Cognos, and others.
***This position is on a hybrid schedule with both onsite and remote work. If the candidate is local the manager would like the candidate to come onsite at once every two weeks. If not local, the candidate can work remotely.
***The candidate will need to be onsite the first day to collect equipment.
The Technical Specialist is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a specific technology. This position opening requires strong PL/SQL, Microsoft Access, Java, IBM Cognos, and others. The primary purpose is to provide development and support of PL/SQL procedures and applications in Oracle 12c, with the primary purpose of developing and automating ETL processes, scheduled data clean-up and maintenance routines, ad hoc data transformations, imports, reportng, and the support of various legacy PL/SQL based web applications. This position also serves as a support developer for Java Web Applications under the guidance and direction of Senior Developers. Java frameworks utilized in OSBM include GWT/Spring/Hibernate. This position reports to the OSBM CIO but will also take direction from the Business Systems Analyst who interacts between the IT team and the business.
