Project Management Specialist (Job Code #8235)
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience;
2) Five (5) to ten (10) years of IT experience including managing teams, customer service, and production project management in multi-platform environments;
3) A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred;
4) A minimum of five (5) years of experience working under general direction for mid-level to senior-level management;
5) A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience with managing and completing complex projects relevant to both IT and business needs.
1) Establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies;
2) Assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, including Risk
Identification and Management;
3) Directing and monitoring work efforts daily, including Logistics Management;
4) Identifying resource needs;
5) Performing quality reviews;
6) Providing administrative support;
7) Escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately;
8) Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources;
9) Coordinating communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed; and
10) Coordinating status reports and stability of project area work efforts.
