SKills:
-Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Senior Network Engineer
-Network certifications, a plus
-Ability to quickly get up to speed with Networks.
-Solid background in network administration and architecture
-Broad experience with cisco networking technologies.
-Cisco gears with cisco routing protocols
-Working knowledge of Meraki Switches
-Multiprotocol Label Switching
-Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS)
-In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g.
BGP, OSPF)
-Familiarity with access control models and network security
-Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools
-Distance vector and link state protocols.
-Interior gateway (IGP) and exterior gateway (EGP) protocols.
-Classful and classless protocols.
-Routing information protocol (RIP)
-Interior gateway protocol (IGRP)
-Experienced with network packet sniffing tools
-Working knowledge of AWS
-Working knowledge of VPCs
-In-depth Experience with Checkpoint firewalls
-Network hardware such as routers, switches, Checkpoint firewalls.
-Checkpoint routing
-NAT routing and translation
-Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory Group Policy, security, LAN
& WAN communications, DAG replication.
-ADFS configuration on Windows Server 2019
-ADFS Authentication/cross domain authentication
-Split DNS and DNS Doctoring
-Can collaborate with Network team and ISO, assisting in the planning, reviewing and
implementing system security policy and best practices.
-Strong troubleshooting skills
-Strong communication skills including oral, written and listening.
-Ability to work with team or independently
Client is seeking a highly qualified and extremely experienced Senior Network Engineer with proven
expertise in configuring and setting up network connectivity between separate private networks
ensuring network integrity and security. Additionally, the Senior Engineer will help with day-to-day
network operations ensuring Network stability and availability. Some of the day-to-day tasks include
Active Directory Group Policy Management, Patch Management, VMware management, trouble
shooting and system monitoring.
