Remote Desktop Support Engineer with Windows/MS Office, Active Directory password management, LAN/user administration, Azure AD, and SEIMS experience

Location: Raleigh NC (NCSBE)

Positions: 1 (1/2)
**This position can be done remotely. However, if the candidate is local there may be some need for the person to come onsite from time to time.
**The candidate will need to come onsite the first day to collect equipment.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
Knowledge of Windows 10, MS Office and other commercial software operation and configuration Required 7 Years
Experience with Active Directory password management Required 7 Years
Knowledge of LAN administration to setup, add and delete users, create groups and add users to groups Required 7 Years
A thorough knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Products, browsers, and email. Required 7 Years

Responsibility: Technical and Customer Support – The Technology Support Technician provides troubleshooting and assistance to users for password issues in Azure AD and SEIMS by phone or in person

Education Requirement: Graduation from high school and one year of experience in the field of technology related to the position’s role. Coursework in computer or information technology may be substituted year for year for the required experience.

Necessary Special Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Windows 10, MS Office and other commercial software operation and configuration; experience with Active Directory password management.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret organizational and procedural information to plan for automation.
• Knowledge of LAN administration to setup, add and delete users, create groups and add users to groups
• A thorough knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Products, browsers, and email.
• The ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse user base, internal and external technical staff, and outside vendors.
• Ability to work well with a variety of people; i.e., vendors, clients, and the general public.
• Ability to consult with high-level technical staff, analysts, and peers to resolve problems.
