Manage Engine System Administrator supporting Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) staff to provide support for configuration, operations, maintenance, and continual innovation of the existing agency implementation of Manage Engine software that is currently integrated with VITA’s Keystone Edge software (Service Now).
A-Manage Engine Configuration – Provide technical assistance and support for continual enhancements and configuration of existing Manage Engine System that includes Service Desk Plus, OpManager Plus, AppManager, and Asset Explorer.
· For Service Desk Plus, the System Admin will support the service catalog, self service portal, incident management, For OpManager support, the System Admin will support User Management, Discovering network resources, classifying devices on maps, integration with vendor data feeds, integration with other applications, alerting faults, and general maintenance functions.
· For AppManager, the System Admin will support set up of monitoring for resources, setting up monitoring for custom applications, configuration of thresholds and actions, and overall administration options
· For Asset Explorer, the System Admin will support Asset discovery, software management, hardware and software inventory, and asset management
· Assist in the porting and conversion of an existing Change Management module to the new Manage Engine implementation
B- Customer Service – Provide fast and useful technical assistance on Manage Engine support. Answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. Have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. The goal is to create value for NOSC staff.
