DAY TO DAY
Project Mgr will be responsible for participating in requirements gathering and communication planning for the Commonwealth enterprise electronic procurement solution.
Need includes a resource to run a communication plan (potentially multiple plans), adjust plan(s) as needed, coordinate with DGS Communications Office, prepare content, assign/coordinate content the resource personally cannot prepare, determine distribution method, distribute all enterprise messages, setup all enterprise meetings (User Groups, Demonstrations, etc.), Web Content Updates/Strategy, Logo Release (including brand guidelines), and coordinate promotional materials. Develop communications specific to: System Interface, System Integration, System Conversion, Training Rollout, System Testing, Supplier requirements (Catalog and Punchout, cXML and EDI, etc.), Overall Project Progress, Post Go Live Support, Post Go Live Enhancements and Releases.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Project Manager that has experience with strong communication skills specific to system implementation. At a minimum we need:
* Project management certified (PMP)
* Significant similar/relevant project and program management experience
* Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple priorities coming from multiple leaders of the agency
* Capable of creating written communications with limited input from agency staff, at times
* Capable of creating written communications targeted at different levels of public bodies (e.g. end users, para professionals, professionals, agency leadership) & meaningfully edit the written work of others targeted at these same groups
Work schedule: 40 hours per week expected. Reg Hours (Mon – Fri). Most work can be performed offsite. For the work that cannot be performed offsite, selected contractor should plan to be onsite as requested by manager.
