**Contractor will need to comply with Elections Covid Policies. This position will start off being mostly remote, but they will be onsite on occasion. They will be expected to be on site 100% of the time when the team returns to the office. Additionally, they will need to go onsite to get their materials.**
5-8 years of directly related experience in server systems administration in a Microsoft Windows environment with extensive VMWare use.
Direct technical experience in Virtualization administration, preferably VMWare.5+ years of experience working in one or more of the following areas: Data center Operations, Network Ops Center Operations, Enterprise-level network monitoring and/or virtual infrastructure monitoring, network architecture design and disaster recovery,
5+ year providing Operation and Sustainment support for the virtualization environment.
Maintain current industry knowledge of development concept, practices and procedures as evidenced by certifications (MCSE, Cisco, VMWare)
Ability to isolate trends and drive key metrics
Ability to make data-driven judgments
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot using Window server logs, monitoring and network analysis tools
Splunk, JIRA and ITIL Experience a desired plus
Technical written & verbal communication skills (technical writing)
