Business Analyst with modeling, business architecture/process design, PM and agile experience

Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or Economics
• Experience in business architecture or business process design
• Experience acting as a liaison between leadership, users, and IT
• Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
• Previous consulting or client service delivery experience (desirable)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence all levels of management
• Strong project management skills (desirable)
• Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions
• Experience working in an agile environment

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Define strategies, principles and standards to guide business architecture efforts across the organization in support of the USIMS Program and assess business process and system efficiencies
• Develop an enterprise understanding of the core and supporting processes of the business, including the people, resources, and systems involved and document the current and future state for business process, data flows, data mapping, and reporting
• Create business models and roadmaps, and assess capability and process gaps between the current and future states
• Work across business and technical teams to ensure technology decisions deliver on business needs and in order to research and answer complex questions related to enterprise reporting solutions and other systems
• Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level, focusing on quality improvement and data management, ensuring data is reliable and valid, developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination, integrating new systems and processes with existing ones, and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies
• Ensure business and technical stakeholders are working consistently across domains to support the USIMS vision and strategy
• Maintain knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment (e.g., BI, artificial intelligence)
• Conduct data discovery and profiling to understand source systems and data movement throughout various systems.
• Conduct data analysis to support development and testing efforts with intermediate knowledge of SQL
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of the USIMS Data Dictionary and assists with USBE data governance
• Gather detailed requirements focused on delivering enterprise reporting solutions or improving data warehouse architecture
• Specify inputs and formatting outputs to meet users’ needs
• Support agile scrum teams, product owners, program manager
